Three-year graduation, transfer, & persistence rates: first time, full-time students
A study of the 752 students who enrolled as first time, full time students at JCC in fall 2017 indicated, 38% had graduated by the start of the fall 2020 semester. An additional 14% transferred to other colleges prior to graduation, and 4% were still enrolled in fall 2020. Graduate job placement
A total of 69% of 2019-2020 JCC graduates with Associate in Applied Science degrees responding to a survey indicated they were employed full-time. Of those responding, 75% said their current occupation is highly related to their JCC degree area and 100% said JCC prepared them for their positions in the workforce (65% indicated “very well,” 35% noted “adequately”). In the same survey, 95% of full-time transfer students responded that JCC prepared them for continuing their education. Of the respondents, 61% indicated JCC had prepared them “very well” and 34% said “adequately.” Also, 74% of the full-time transfer students are studying in a program that is highly related to their JCC program.
